How to pick a handbag for you

How hard is it to choose the perfect handbag for your body? How hard is it to find a handbag to suit you? Well I'm glad you asked...it is not that hard you just need to answer a couple of questions and shop til you drop.

Things You'll Need:

a color in mind

a list of what you carry in your purse

an open mind

Step
1

Figure out what you carry in your purse, is it a lot or just a few things? What colors do you wear 3 or 4 times a week? What color bag would compliment your wardrobe?

Step
2

COLOR:
As a rule of thumb, if you are known for wearing crazy colors or a lot of different textures at once you should consider sticking with a neutral solid color bag to keep the attention on the outfit.
NOW if you are a girl who enjoys wearing the ever-slimming black or brown outfits, you keep your wardrobe pretty "classic", then you should really consider buying a handbag that throws in a spark of color. Consider buying a red, yellow, or blue bag that will compliment most everything in your closet.

Step
3

SIZE:
If you are a tall women, no matter size, feel free to try on every bag in the store, find one that really suits you. Pay attention to how long it hangs, how many handles it has, and keep in mind comfort of the staps, take your time.
If you are a petite women like myself, we have to be a little causicous, You should really keep the size of the handbag some what small. I usually use the rule that it should hit where I am my smallest. This way when you walk it stays focused on your smallest area.

Step
4

Everyone should keep in mind that it is okay to have several different bags, one for traveling, one for work, one for going out etc. Don't get caught up in one really expensive bag, bag a couple of nice bags that can be alternated. This way you can get the most out of each outfit in your closet.

Tips & Warnings

Make sure all or you stuff fits into the purse you are looking at.

Once filled wear it around the store for a little while to see if it stays on your shoulder, feels comfortable, and keeep glancing in the mirror to see if it is the right look for you.
